Just up the road from Stevens Street, but in the ritzy Maxwell Heights District, is the incredibly decorated mansion known as Number 1 Nicodemus. Trick-or-treaters who stop in here are guaranteed to walk off with a haul of the big candy bars and even a cup of hot cider to go, as the night gets darker and chillier. Momma, the charming and elegant owner of the house, has her old lady moments, but still manages to take home the award every year for best dressed house for both this holiday and Christmas.
But it is not Santa time just yet - there is still much more to do, so over the river we go for our next stop this Halloween night....
