The newest attraction in Freeland is known as HOFTOWN. Although it is hardly a town - only a midsize block - it is a dedication to the latest inductees to the Maxis Hall of Fame [HOF]. Situated near Maxis Minis World, this latest tourist destination is similar in that it is a collection of miniaturized buildings set in a park-like atmosphere. In HOFTOWN, even the surrounding roads have been zapped down to sidewalk dimension along with what were once full-size trees! The seven latest HOF members each have a place here and although they aren't represented by their most famous buildings, the chosen works all have some significance within the city of Freeland [see specifics below for more info].
All structures and even the flora are made of a high strength polymer mix and are largely hollow with the exception of some incorporated environmental, structural and security support systems.
Park closes at dusk everyday and for regular maintenance every Monday morning between 7 and 9 AM. Admission is free and refreshments are available near the pool. An ATM machine can be found at the base of the Mini-Mellon structure. Located on Little Lane, Freeland. Non-HOFers are welcome.
