Didn't We Just Do This? It's hard to believe that a whole year has passed since Freeland's One Year Anniversary - it's also hard to believe that after two years the site and the people who work on it are still going strong creating new and original content for SimCity 3000 Unlimited, when many other sites have begun to look ahead to SimCity 4. Or just maybe it's because of this fact, that Freeland - always known as a Bapper's Haven - continues to grow and explore in every way - after all, there is still so much to explore in the building and customizing departments - something we won't get to do for some time in the coming version...however, we might just cover SimCity 4 before then anyway. But today is about celebrating our history together to this point - these last two years at Freeland - not about things to come. And our history together has been incredible. What started out to be a site to store some custom props in a fictional city, has grown into a full-fledged community of enthusiastic, supportive and creative individuals. This page is a tribute to and by many of those people, as much as it is to the site itself. As the guy who simply had the idea to start this thing, i humbly thank all of you who have made it what it is today. Tomorrow can only be better. fredfree |
